Permanent Make-Up

Livingston, New Jersey. Have you ever wished you naturally looked the way you look in makeup? Today more and more women are opting for eyebrows and eyeliner that never smudge and lip color that doesn't wear off or bleed into the fine lines around the mouth. With permanent cosmetic makeup, or micro-pigmentation as it is also called, you can swim, exercise and wake up in the morning with your makeup intact.
Permanent makeup has been a timesaving convenience for women accustomed to applying eyebrow eyeliner and or lip liner pencils several times a day. Largely unregulated until the 1990’s, the procedure was often done in beauty parlors by hairdressers and nail technicians with mixed results at best. Today, recognition of the importance of proper medical precautions and the guidelines of the National Board of Micropigmentation have raised cosmetic tattooing to a safe and painless process that benefits people in a wide variety of applications.

With Permanent Makeup you can:
• Wake up with beautiful, natural makeup
• Go to the pool or gym without your makeup running or coming off
• Get ready in half the time
• Save money on cosmetics
• Always look your best in any situation
• Have a professional artist reshape your lips or brows
• Have perfect lines even if you have shaky hands or poor eyesight
• Have thicker looking lashes
• Have more defined and fuller lips
• Have your narrow or uneven lips corrected
• Have your own natural features enhanced
EYEBROWS
Framing and balancing the face a well designed and groomed brow can instantly give lift and emphasis to the eyes, giving a more youthful appearance. Various concerns such as sparse, thin or naturally very light eyebrows can be addressed by adding fullness and definition without compromising a natural look. This pigmentation procedure for eyebrows can mimic the appearance of hair in the brow line. Properly designed eyebrows can give you a natural face lift! Those who used to apply pencil can go swimming, sweat, or wipe their forehead without the embarrassment of losing their eyebrows. Those suffering from alopecia (hair loss) are pleasantly surprised at how natural it looks. You can choose your color and any shape that best matches your face.
EYELINER
Eye liner and Eyelash enhancement treatments are incredibly effective at drawing attention to the eyes and can be as subtle or dramatic as required. The result is very similar to the effect that a ‘mascara wand’ leaves behind after application, except that it’s permanent. Lashes can be made to look thicker by applying a soft, natural line between the lashes creating instant definition. This is incredibly effective at ‘opening the eyes’. A slightly more defined line can be created for those clients who wish to emphasize and add more definition to their eyes or who regularly apply eyeliner.
There are various color combinations and effects that can be chosen to achieve the desired result and this treatment really does often prove quite a revelation in terms of the possibilities to the client.
Eyeliner should enhance and define the shape of the eyes, bring out the natural eye color, give lift, make the lashes look thicker and create a more youthful appearance. Some clients like a soft natural look while others prefer to make more dramatic statement. Whatever your preference is, eyeliner is a must.
LIPS
Beautiful, sensual lips are created by adding natural color where needed, achieving instant fullness and definition. Subtle corrections can be made to thin, uneven or asymmetric lips and the size and shape can be altered as desired. Facial lines around the mouth are instantly camouflaged and lipstick bleed is eliminated.
Lip enhancement is a wonderful way of subtly replacing lost pigment especially to the outer border of the lips where it most commonly fades as we age. The technique of blending the pigment with the natural color of the lip ensures no harsh out lines.
This pigmentation procedure can modify and enhance the size and shape of the lips as well as the color. This procedure helps prevent lipstick from bleeding into the surrounding skin. From very natural to dramatic, any color can be used. Most lip colors chosen are soft shades that compliment your skin tone. When adding a gloss over our color it seems even brighter. You can always apply more dramatic lipstick color for any special look.

Cosmetic Laser MD is pleased to introduce About Pamela Byrne, F.A.A.M, D.A.A.M
American makeup artist and esthetician Pamela Byrne first encountered the permanent make-up procedure as a tourist in Hong King and Singapore in 1980. First as a client and then as a student, she studied several methods of applying permanent color in the skin. These varied from the manual method to the pen type applicator to the standard coil type tattoo machine.
Fascinated by the potential of this exciting new beauty technique, the former make-up artist enrolled in further training courses in the art of cosmetic tattooing in Korea, Japan and Australia.
In the twenty plus years she has been practicing her art, she has performed almost eight thousand procedures and has trained doctors, nurses, and qualified beauty industry personnel.
Mrs. Byrne is, or has been, a member of The Society of Permanent Make-up Professionals, The National Cosmetic Tattooing Association, The American Council of Dermagraphic Research, The Australasian Federation of Aestheticians and Beauty Therapists and is a charter diplomat of The American Academy of Micropigmentation founded by Dr. Charles Zwerling.
